Lily Midnight

Of course, Lily Midnight is not her real name. But a peasant´s name is not good name for a witch. Her parents named her Daphne, the witches named her Ursula, but she named herself Lily, and that´s the name most people know.

Toffe is not the real name of the cat, either. But it is a good name for the creature using its body, something that called itself Mephistopheles. "Toffe" is shorter, more familiar, and a bit naive.

The eye patch is not neccessary, either. Lily keeps her two eyes, but being a changeling, daughter of a hag, it is not a good idea to show her other eye, yellow and cat-like. People in Ustalav are superstitious, and would likely burn her in a fire if they find out.


Lily was my character in Paizo´s setting "Carrion Crown", for the Dungeons & Dragons 3.5 system. Her party and her were killed by a ghost, and resurrected afterwards, but we no longer play with those characters.
