Hey, I ain´t have a love for musical, precisely. But I went to see the movie trusting that the sweet combination of Tim Burton and Jhonny Depp never dissapoints me.

And it didn´t. Sweeney Todd is the most hilarious movie I have seen in a lot of time. It has this creepy, decadent and grey look of Tim Burton´s movies with the outstanding interpretative skills of Jhonny in the role of the crazy barber. I can´t name a movie where they were togheter that I haven´t liked.

And the songs? To die for. I had to hold myself from laughing too loud during the song where the meat pie lady talks about the jobs on the menu. Delicious.
All the blood in a macabre yet funny combination. Seriously, I loved it.

I just thought I had to post this. I think this movie hasn´t had enough publicity and that everyone can enjoy it (if you aren´t delicate about a bit of gore). It is the first movie this year where I haven´t thought "5 euros gone to trash". Super-recommended!

And mentioning that; I saw 30 days of night at home. The trailer looked good, like a different story of vampires. But it was boring as hell and the story doesn´t go anywhere beyong "vampires kill everyone in an alaskan town". Not recommended, not if you have to pay for it. :/
